About Rebecca Olds

I am a dress and textile historian who uses clothing to tell human stories. My work bridges scholarship, craftsmanship and public engagement, rooted in the belief that clothing carries the lives and labour of those who made and wore it, and that by reconstructing and interpreting historical garments, we can recover voices and experiences too often overlooked in traditional histories.
