About John Smart

Hi, I'm John, Design Director at Collaborate, a multi-disciplinary design agency based in Scotland. We work with a range of clients across a broad cross section of visitor attractions, heritage sites on visitor experiences. Our work covers interpretation, signage, exhibition, environmental graphic design and way-finding. As the name suggests, collaboration is key and I am open to working with other design and interpretation professionals to create intelligent, thought-provoking design interventions appropriate to their surroundings. Existing clients include Historic Royal Palaces, The National Trust, English Heritage, Historic Environment Scotland and Lost Shore Surf Resort.
