March 5, 2020The Old Library, Liverpool – Heritage interpretation design & installation tender opportunity – expired
Lister Steps is a community-based charity in Tuebrook, Liverpool, providing family and children’s services since 1997. Thanks to the National Lottery Heritage Fund, we are regenerating The Old Library, a local Grade II listed building, in order to relocate our existing childcare & family support services and provide an extended range of opportunities for our community. The Old Library is due to re-open in summer 2020 and will bring people together to learn new skills, volunteer, socialise, study, develop enterprise and celebrate through a range of events, activities and business opportunities.
Lister Steps are looking for a creative design practice that will support us in the design, manufacture and installation of engaging heritage interpretation in The Old Library. Our interpretation should be interesting & accessible to a diverse group of visitors & multiple stakeholder groups. It must tell the story of this cherished Grade II listed building, its place in the history of our local area and its role in the lives of our community over the years.
You can download the full heritage interpretation brief from our website. Tender submissions will be scored according to quality (60%) and cost (40%). Quality of submissions will be scored against:
• Ability to deliver against key competencies
• Project methodology and resourcing
• Understanding of the brief
The deadline for submissions is Tuesday 10th March at 9am. Prospective Tenderers are encouraged to visit the site by pre arranged appointment. To book a visit or to request further information, please contact Gaynor Williams on 0151 2541394 or Gaynor.williams@listersteps.co.uk.
