Following a successful application to the National Lottery Heritage Fund, Hearth Historic Buildings Trust seek Expressions of Interest from Interpretation Consultants to lead the interpretation and exhibition design for the Grade B+ listed Victorian Warehouse in Belfast. http://hearthni.org.uk/riddels-warehouse/
Once complete the warehouse will primarily be a working building with permanent interpretation incorporated into its design. The project will also require impermanent interpretation design to feed into the engagement strategy (site hoarding, informative flyers/booklets etc).
The successful Interpretation Consultant will lead the interpretation strategy and design services for the understanding and presentation of Riddel’s Warehouse history and its related ironmongery industry in Northern Ireland. The Interpretation consultant is expected to work with the appointed conservation-led Integrated Design Team (ICT).
