From 2001 to 2018, Interpret Wales produced 23 magazines, delivered 20+ training courses, and strengthened best practice in interpretation across Wales.

Interpret Wales was formally launched at the AHI conference at Swansea in September 2001. Prior to the launch it had been known as the Welsh Environmental Interpretation Group, an informal group consisting of the main organisations with interests in environmental and cultural interpretation in Wales.

Interpret Wales functioned for 17 years and produced 23 high quality magazines, delivered over 20 excellent training courses, promoting and connecting interpreters across Wales and encouraging best practice in enhancing visitor experiences at cultural and natural heritage sites in Wales.
