The Woodland Trust in partnership with the National Trust are seeking an experienced consultant to tender for the wayfinding and orientation development at Londonthorpe Woods and Bellmount along with the design and development of signage and interpretation elements to establish two ‘visitor gateways’ on the site.
Londonthorpe Woods and Bellmount once formed part of the 17th Century Brownlow Estate around Belton House, but over time this historic landscape has become fragmented. The ‘Reconnecting Grantham to its historic landscape’ project seeks to reconnect the two sites and engage the people of Grantham in their future.
We wish to engage with people from a wide range of backgrounds and encouraging the people of Grantham to make use of the site. Our hope is that this amazing landscape will become a much-loved community resource that has real benefits to the lives of local people.
The project will encourage audiences to explore the two adjoining sites through the provision of way-marked trails, clear orientation and joint welcome information and resources.
For more information and the Invitation to Tender, please contact Heather Cook, Project Manager at email@example.com
Deadline for intention to bid is 5pm on 9th July 2021.
