To commemorate Armistice Day, the National Brewery Centre, Burton-upon-Trent, hosted a programme of guided walks on the 10th November 2018. Participants visited the town’s war memorials honouring those who gave their lives during World War One and learnt about the world famous brewing industry, visiting iconic landmarks en route. As part of the HLF-funded project the walks have been digitised - burton.placesandtrails.com - so others can listen, read and even watch the stories shared during that day. A virtual tour can be done on desktops and laptops, or simply turn on GPS and use your phone or tablet to trigger content automatically, and track your progress, as you walk the trail.
