June 7, 2024AHI Conference 2024
Would you like to speak at this year's conference? Do you have a story to tell? To complement our invited speakers, we’d love to hear about your projects, activities and ideas that encourage visitors or audiences to embark on a journey of discovery. For a balanced programme, we aim to represent a wide range of storytelling contexts and purposes, which can include digital and in-person projects. Presentations can be up to 25 minutes long. Speakers must be prepared to take questions on their presentations – this may be at the end of their talk or as part of a Q&A session. Workshops can be up to 55 minutes long and should involve participants. There may be the opportunity for presentations followed by facilitated discussion. If you wish to present in this form please indicate a time requirement for each part. Presentation outlines, 500 word maximum, should be submitted to admin@ahi.org.uk. Please include: Your name, address, job title and contact details A provisional title for your presentation A clear explanation of what issue the initiative you describe aims to address and the role that interpretation plays within this initiative. An indication of how your presentation/workshop will provide delegates with practical examples, tips and insights to take away and work with in their own organisations. Any limits to your availability during conference hours on Wednesday 9th or Friday 11th October. We look forward to receiving your presentation or workshop ideas by 31 May 2024 All proposals will be curated in order to provide coherent strands within the overarching conference theme and to maximise the overall value to delegates. As always we welcome proposals from a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences. For any queries regarding abstracts or submissions please contact Geraldine Mathieson mills@mathieson1.karoo.co.uk |
