This edition of the journal explores a contemporary but contentious subject – the place of hand-held technology in interpretation. The uptake and application of these new media is causing quite a stir, with some believing they offer a useful interpretive tool, whilst others take a far more sceptical approach. In this heat, we hope to shed some light.
