About Ollie Taylor
I've been working in heritage interpretation for over 15 years, from managing grassroots projects to exhibition design, delivery, and programming. I've held senior roles at Bath Abbey, Winchester Cathedral, and SS Great Britain, as well as having worked for The National Archives, Gloucestershire Archives, and Everyman Theatre Company. I specialise in devising original exhibitions, audience development, family programming, the interpretation of church buildings and English church monuments (occasionally at the same time!). I am a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society and have been fortunate enough to receive a number of accolades for my work on exhibitions and interpretation. I developed, curated, and programmed the "Whales" exhibition at Winchester Cathedral, which won an AHI Engaging People Award in 2025, "Best Event" at The Association for Cultural Enterprises Awards 2026, and is shortlisted for an M+H Award 2026 for "Best Temporary or Touring Exhibition with a Budget under £80k". I am proud to be an Accredited Member of the AHI. I am available to offer consultative work on interpretive projects, especially those interpreting ecclesiastical environments. When not crawling around old churches, I love the ocean, bellyboarding, poetry, and a good sea shanty!Meet Our Members
