October 5, 2020The Woodland Trust – Tender opportunity – one day virtual workshop – expired
The Woodland Trust are seeking experienced professionals to quote for leading a one day virtual workshop focused on planning, developing and delivering inclusive interpretation in a woodland environment.
As the UK’s largest woodland conservation charity we protect, create and restore trees and woods for the benefit of people and wildlife; they are nature’s treasure troves and we want to heighten people’s connections with them. To achieve this, we want to meaningfully engage wider, more diverse audiences, creating impactful, memorable and practical solutions to the stories of our sites.
This will be a training and learning opportunity for Woodland Trust staff working across the UK to help them plan for and deliver an accessible interpretive journey experience. It should include consideration of both physical and sensory experiences, exploring how we identify and address challenges or barriers, embrace opportunity, and embed best practice from planning to delivery.
It is expected that this will be an online session currently scheduled for 17 December 2020.
For more information and the Invitation to Quote, please contact Kim van Rensburg, Interpretation Manager at kimvanrensburg@woodlandtrust.org.uk
Deadline for ITQ responses is 5pm on 28 October 2020.
