The Elan Valley Trust, as part of an ARWAIN Powys Leader funded project supported by matched funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund Elan Links scheme, is seeking to appoint a company to design and build suitable technology, such as a mobile app, to deliver interpretative content in the Elan Valley.

The technology will enable Elan Valley to enhance the visit or participation of the visitor, enabling people to learn about heritage, have an enjoyable experience and widen the range of people that engage with the heritage.

The beautiful landscape of the Elan Valley does not lend itself to good mobile network coverage and as such we are looking for innovative solutions to deliver engaging content and experiences across the site.

Alongside the development which is to be achieved during this calendar year the contract will also provide for ongoing development, support and updates for an agreed amount of time thereafter to ensure the chosen technology will work with smart phone and platform updates.

There are two distinct components of work:

Development and build of the technology – to be completed by December 2021
Ongoing support and updates

The successful contractor will have a strong track record in this type of work and will be able to demonstrate this clearly in the submission.
