Info-Point (​https://www.info-point.eu​)  is a device that can deliver your heritage interpretation to smartphones at any location without needing internet access. Having built it from an idea into an established commercial product, the owners are now looking to retire. They are looking for a heritage organisation that can grow and develop it further as a platform for the delivery of wide-ranging mobile digital heritage interpretation. They would especially welcome expressions of interest from AHI members.

This opportunity would suit an organisation, consortium, or possibly even a graduate enterprise or start-up, that has enough technical knowledge to manage ‘intranet’ servers, and the ability to support sales to a wide range of organisations within the heritage sector.

The owner’s knowledge and experience of the market and the technology, gleaned over 7 years of operation, is available to support a transition, along with customer testimonials and a sales pipeline of circa £200K.

While the heritage market is going through difficult times, the challenges of sanitising venue-owned equipment is leading to increased interest in BYOD as a replacement technology. Info-Point recently collaborated with AHI to run a very popular webinar on this topic. See:
