Webinar: Demystifying evaluation: a brief guide to the evaluation of interpretive media, activities and programmes
So, what is ‘evaluation’? Evaluation is a systematic process of determining something’s value, worth or merit.
When you’re planning your interpretive effort start with what will be different because of your effort – and how will you know this?
When you evaluate your interpretation, it will help you to understand whether it is meeting its objectives or not and will therefore help you to develop or indeed enhance the specific media or entire programme further. It will also help you answer any ‘so what?’ questions about your work and therefore help you to explain what is different on site because of your interpretive media, project or programme. Your evaluation will also help you report to your funders.
We’ll take a look at logic models and then evaluation, as a process, which can be simplified in terms of a number of key questions, including; Why? When? What? and How?
These questions will get you started on your evaluation journey in this webinar.
