An introduction to the AHI Interpretation for Diversity and Inclusion Best Practice Guide, created in the wake of the 2020 #BlackLivesMatter movement. Informed by a series of stellar case studies, the guide seeks to demonstrate ways to co-create interpretation enriched by a diversity of practitioners, contributors and themes.
Beth Môrafon is Chair of AHI and founding Director of VisitMôr, a public realm and visitor experience consultancy. She has over 20 years’ practice in the sector.
Damon Mahoney is an AHI Trustee and designer working across interpretation and brand identity for visitor experience.
